Waking Up is Hard to Do

Posted by Roberta Lipp on April 22, 2007

Neil made me do it. And Jessica started it. Well, all the cool kids are doing it.

The challenge was, post a Rise and Shine photo of yourself; what do you actually look like when you wake up?

Okay, in defense… last night was an extremely weird night for sleep. I was out unusually late, to bed even later, and then got on the phone after 4:00 and didn’t go to sleep until well after 5:00 am! This is a very strange occurrence.

But no it did not end there! At 6:30 this very morning I received a phone call from a crying friend in need. This is an even stranger occurrence! And I did not go back to sleep until 8-ish. And now it’s 10:00. And I am blogging!

But I suppose that doesn’t fully excuse even address why it is I still have last night’s makeup on.

(But it does sort of explain the cross eyed thing)

Gotta say, on like, no sleep (you do the math) I am impressed that I got the my face in view of the lense. One take, folks.

G’night.

I’m impressed that after so little sleep you even had the presence of mind to take a picture.

If you have a “Waking Up is Hard to Tres” photo, we should could your PJs in frame.

    (Roberta has the best PJs.)

  6. I really do. And I hate that pillowcase. I’ve been using it because I am dying my hair with bright, temporary colors and it stains my better pillowcases.
