Okay, so last summer there were a series of coffee events. And I wrote all about them.
What I never did was write about the subsequent coffee maker events.
It’s too much. I’ll sum up.
The coffee maker I purchased last August sucked. Just sucked. And I suffered a whole lot. Because I hated it. and because it sucked.
Then it started to have tangible flaws. And then I went through a whole thing where I tried to return it but couldn’t find the receipt, and then I went through the manufacturer and they would only replace the leaky carafe but really I just wanted it gone because I knew it would keep sucking, and in the meantime I caught the guy on the phone at the warrantee center in kind of a lie about the coffee pot (regarding the definition of ‘thermal’) which only served to inflame me but still left me stuck with this crap coffee maker, and then I DID find my receipt but it was too late for the store to do anything with it, (nice as they were, and they were) Read the rest of this entry »
