I was a little concerned that I might have a weekend that was dominated by overwhelming indecision and conflict.
That concerned was based on the premise that Wicked Labyrinth would be such an awesome and endlessly fascinating event,
and that so many people I knew would be there from several walks of my life,
that I would feel like I was missing out on something any time Joe and I stayed in the hotel room.
(or like, vice versa.)
Not a problem.
I had a greaat weekend. Joe and I had a greaat weekend.
But the event itself was only okay and fairly amateurish,
which led me to lack conflict about how to spend my time
which enabled me to be more relaxed
and enjoy all my time more.
Enjoy my time down in the main hotel area, schmoozing and window shopping and wandering around,
and enjoy my time with Joe.
And my set, though poorly (in quantity) attended, was wonderful (and my audience was quite high quality). I looked great, I chose great songs, I performed to my satisfaction, and I was… damn funny and kind of adorable. And I had fun.
I had so much fun. Joe and I had so much fun together. We delighted in each other… we laughed, we jabbed, we stroked and stoked and snuggled.
Perhaps there will be another post about this weekend. But if no more details do come, this oughta suffice when it comes to communicating the main point–
that I had the most fun weekend with Joe I’ve ever had. Just, light and kind and sexy and loving and effortless.
And that makes for a great time.
